Problematic Fuel In Your Chainsaws?

With the switch to from E5 to E10 petrol taking place from September 2021 this has meant that the most readily available fuel at most petrol stations now contains 10% ethanol.
Whilst most modern equipment like chainsaws, strimmers, leaf blowers, mowers, etc should run on E10 fuel, (mixed with the appropriate 2 stroke oil where applicable) a lot of people have experienced some issues especially where unused fuel is left in equipment or stored for prolonged periods, resulting in poor, starting, poor running, and in some cases component deterioration in carbs and fuel lines.
How to Avoid Issues
One way to avoid such issues is to continue to try and source the higher octane E5 grade fuel where available.
However, another alternative is to switch to specialist fuels like Aspen 2 (premixed for 2 stroke engines) and Aspen 4 (for 4 stroke engines).
Why Aspen Fuel

Aspen fuel is an alkylate petrol which not only helps to prolong machine life, avoid fuel-related issues like stale fuel or engine damage from ethanol, but also reduces health risks and environmental impact.
Whilst more expensive to initially purchase compared with regular fuel, over the longer term the cost can be offset by reduced maintenance and longer machine life.
Benefits of Aspen Fuel
No Ethanol - Preventing the damage and breakdowns that ethanol in regular fuel can cause to small petrol engines.
Stable Formula - It doesn't degrade over time, staying fresh for years, which eliminates issues caused by stale fuel and ensures easier starting even after long periods of inactivity.
Cleaner Operation - Aspen leaves less deposit in the engine's combustion chamber and on spark plugs, leading to better performance and less wear.
Health & Safety And Environmental Benefits
Reduced Toxic Emissions - It contains significantly fewer harmful and toxic hydrocarbons, resulting in less harmful exhaust emissions.
Less Odour - The minimal amount of harmful substances means less odour, reducing headaches and improving working conditions, especially in confined spaces.
Convenience
No Premixing for Aspen 2 - Aspen's 2-Stroke fuel comes pre-mixed with high-quality biodegradable oil at the correct ratio, so there is no need to mix the fuel and oil yourself.
No Need to Drain Fuel - You can leave Aspen in the machine without fear of it going stale or damaging the engine, which is particularly useful for winter storage.
